Safety Crew
Join the Safety Crew – Your Volunteer Role in the Scene
The Hein & Fiete Safety Crew is active wherever queer life happens: at parties, in clubs, and at events across Hamburg’s queer scene. In a relaxed and low-threshold way, we provide information on everything that matters to men* who have sex with men* and to trans* people – whether on the dance floor, at the bar, or while cruising. We combine education with information and personal connection – direct, open, and on equal footing.
As part of the Safety Crew, you are right in the middle of the action. You talk with people about safer sex, HIV and other STIs, about substance use, boundaries, and self-care. Not in a lecturing way, but honestly, respectfully, and grounded in real life.

Who we’re looking for
People who are eager to get involved – regardless of prior experience. Openness, reliability, and an interest in queer lived realities are more important than perfect prior knowledge. You’ll learn everything else with us.
